Crazy Love: Overwhelmed by a Relentless God

The alarm goes off. You stumble to the shower. The commute ¨C the work day ¨C the return home. You sit in the same chair at dinner. Watch the same TV shows for that weekday. Read a book to your kid. Mumble sweet nothings to your wife. And you’re back to sleep. The alarm goes off. You stumble¡ you get the picture, right? Tired of the status quo? Exhausted of the daily grind? Do you wonder if there really is “more” to life? Good. I have an excellent book for you to read!

It’s entitled, “Crazy Love” and its written by Francis Chan. Don’t panic, it’s not a self-help book about your marriage; although what you will be challenged by in this book will definitely improve your marriage. The full title of the book is “Crazy Love: Overwhelmed by a Relentless God”.

Francis Chan will probe the depths of your heart, prompting you to ask over and over again, “There’s Christians who really live that way?” It’s a book about the way the normal Christian life should be. It’s about selling out to something that matters. It’s about stopping the lukewarmness and starting the white-hot passion of serving a God that loves you crazily. You’ll renew a picture of God that perhaps you’ve lost. You’ll begin to make choices that will in turn cause ripple effects of God’s love to course through every area of your life. It’s a book that will change the way you live.

When you lay your pillow down on the eve of your home-going, you’ll look back on a life that has meant something for the cause of Christ, if you follow the Biblical principles laid out in Crazy Love.

The alarm goes off. And your spouse has to turn it off, because you’re already on your way in a day that will make a difference. Give this book a read and see if it doesn’t change your life! I know it challenged me to make serious changes in the way I live.
