Another look into the glamourous life of RVing...NOT!

Life in the parking lot!

Today was gray and rainy. According to plan we stopped at the Purina Farms in Gray Summit, MO. Maybe it was because it was so cold...but it won't make the Familyman Favorite list. Maybe if you love dogs it would be fun...but I don't (in fact, I have dreams about the death of our dog).

Well, the first day of the adventure went about as good as it possibly could. The RV ran like a top and we were able to have dinner at the Wilson’s favorite on the road eating place—Cracker Barrel.

While were there (St. Louis) a tornado touched down and the sky looked mighty ugly. Actually, it felt like an omen. Two years ago we just about every place we stopped seemed to have tornadoes. It almost felt like we were tornado magnets.

Best Family Restaurant —

1. Cracker Barrel (make sure you each get a 10 cent candy stick and sit on the front porch after the meal)
2. Fazoli’s kids eat free night
3. Denny’s kids eat free night

4. Culver’s kid’s meals – where else can you geta  good meal, drink, and ice cream dessert? Ok, DQ does the same…but I like Culver’s better.

My son Sam (15) deisgned and animated this little Familyman Adventure...thing-before-the-blog-video. I thouhgt I'd let you take a look and brag on my son. He made this whole thing. The RV that looks exactly like ours...he created it from pixels. Even the RV honk is a recording of our honkin big RV horns. It's almost like being there!
