I walked into my familyroom and I can’t believe what I just saw…
The blog title doesn’t have a thing to do with this post…except to help me conduct an experiment. If you’ve followed me at all you know I hate Facebook.
I get worn down by the volume of articles, posts, and “thoughts” that are known as notifications.
Now there seems to be a knew trend of “Amazing, Life-changing, mind-blowing, God breathed articles” that you have to read to believe. And they all start with some magic title formula…like the title of this blog post. I guess to be honest most of the articles are pretty amazing, but it just seems to me that we’re happily abandoning our real family time for amazing articles and photos.
In short….we’re wasting our life on…drivel. All the while are children grow older.
I’m afraid we’re going to get to the end of our life and say with regret, “I Facebooked my life away.”
Think about it…the next time you walk into your family room and see…your precious family.
You ‘da dad,
Todd
PS – Man, it’s cold out there!!!!!!
Funny that as I was reading this I overheard a few cubes over a conversation about what someone saw on Facebook.
