Familyman Weekly – Happy Thanksgiving!!

Before you head into Thanksgiving weekend, I just want to make sure you know how thankful I am to be part of your life. Every day, I get letters from dads just like you, sharing joys and sorrows, triumphs and heartaches.

I’m not sure who’s more encouraged, you or me, but I love being on this team we call Familyman. And I love being on it with you. It’s comforting to know we’re all going through the same things. I know it’s not easy being a dad or a husband, but I also know that it’s the most important thing we’ll ever do.

I hope you have a great Thanksgiving Day tomorrow. Remember to be extra helpful and ask throughout the day if there is anything you can do. Do something fun and family-ish on Black Friday…go check out some door busters, eat a fun lunch, string lights outdoors, or play football in the backyard.

Just so it doesn’t get pushed out by all the busyness, spend a few minutes right now thanking God for…your wife, your children, your job, a roof over your head, food on the table, good memories, the hard times you might be facing, and that God has given you another year to be ‘da dad.

Don’t eat too much…but go ahead and try!!
