The Wilson Family Christmas Card

Things are crazy busy here at the Wilson home so let me just cut to the chase and give you the run down:

Ben (17) is a junior this year and doing a program called College Plus where he studies like mad on a specific college subject and then takes a CLEP test for college credit. So far, he is two for two and if all goes according to plan, he will have a bachelor’s degree by the time he graduates from high school. Other than school, he is still a techno-geek and knows more about iphones and every other gadget than a person should. And, he loves volleyball and plays in a weekly league.

Sam (15), besides being a super big brother and constant help, is a computer animation maniac. He spends most of his free time animating and ‘creating’ on his computer. And from this dad who is not easily impressed…I’m impressed. His skills have come in handy in the Familyman Ministries department and you can click here to see some of his handiwork.

Katherine (13) has gone from little girl to young woman. She loves home, tea parties with her fiends, reading, and blogging and just finished writing a book about tea parties for girls, which we hope to publish this year. She is a great ‘big sissy’ to Maggie and can handle just about the whole home-thing.

Ike (11) is growing up but still has the excitement of an eleven-year-old. In fact, everything he does and experiences is the BEST ever. He is Mr. Inventor and is always crafting something (including a real boat that we are building out of plywood) and has even purchased plans off of eBay to build a jet engine.

Abe (9) is Ike’s accomplice in the building trade. Ike has the ideas and Abe is the plugger. Together they built a tree fort and a log cabin this year. Abe is also a killer Euchre player and is a favorite partner of grandpa’s.

Maggie Rose (6) is like Tinkerbell on steroids. She loves changing clothes and looking beautiful (which she’s quick to point out). She loves her little brothers to the point of frustration and drives her sister nuts by her constant jabbering and giggling at bedtime. She’s going to make someone a wonderful wife…if she doesn’t drive him to an early grave.

Cal (4) is the team mascot. He loves dressing up in cowboy stuff, loves his big brothers, talks like a little gentleman, and looks like Linus as he sucks his thumb and slings his blue ‘blankie’ over his shoulder.

Jed (2) looks like a little bulldog with his adorable underbite and has the personality to match. He likes playing the ukulele, wrestling, and being big.

Debbie and I celebrated our 20th anniversary, and she continues to wear a hundred hats and do them all well…although she gets a little overwhelmed (read a lot overwhelmed) sometimes. I feel abundantly blessed by the wife and family I have, but I also feel inadequate most of the time.

There’s just not enough room to say more…so Merry Christmas!

  3. Todd, I so enjoyed your family photo and reading about your beautiful family. Also, loved the Wilson family photo sent by your mom and dad! That is quite a group…had to get out my magnifying glass!!! Merry Christmas to all of you!

  4. We just purchased the To Bethlehem game and have played it twice! Great fun! We have finished 3 of the 4 Christmas books and will start the 4th tonight. Thanks for Christ-honoring products! Merry Christmas to the Wilson family!

  6. It is so good to hear of your kids accomplishments! (I’m sure it makes you and Debbie very proud—I know it would me)

We Will be looking forward to reading Katherine’s book. Ben can’t be 17, it was only yeaterday that he was 11 or 12 managing your table at Conventions while you were speaking. I could say so much more, but I don’t want to take up to much space…lol.

I will leave you with this, from an old “Partridge Family Christmas” song:

“To you and all your family, your neighbors, and your friends…May peace and love surround you at Christmas time and all the whole year through!”
MERRY CHRISTMAS and HAPPY NEW YEAR

Claude & Dawn Greulich and Family (Zanesville, Ohio—ZCHE)
