Ebrace the Messes and the Mess-Makers

  1. I will not dare show my husband this webcast…for fear he would see the buffalo on your wall! He’s been longing for a deer head overhead, and us girls cannot bear the thought!

  2. Todd, you’ve lost weight! I do force myself to let my boys build indoor forts! And my 9 and 7 yr olds played “chu chu” the other day – tying themselves together with a jumprope and chugging laps around our house – so cute!

  3. That’s funny you brought this up, Todd. The other day I had no couch to sit on, no chairs at the dinner table, no desk chair, and no pillow when it came time to go to bed…but we had one fantastic fort in the front half of the house.

  4. This dad (dude) has 6 grandkids now and with my 4 (2 natural and 2 married to them) doing what I never got to do (and lovin’ it) I DO have the clean house- that is, until my grandkids come and praise God is it fun, or what? God bless you all

  5. I think your family room looks great! I have half as many kids as you still at home and my house looks ten times worse most of the time! Thanks for the encouragement!

  6. AMEN! I’m so glad I taught my son how to make “forts” from pillows, blankets, and couch cusions – even if they do sometimes span the ENTIRE Family Room or Living Room. I’ve showed him how to use spring clamps from my woodshop, and some of his toy spears and rifles to attach and prop up the blankets to make them even bigger. My wife isn’t always thrilled, but we’ve even “camped out” under a few of his creations over night. I know I will miss this terribly someday all too soon.
