The Reason for Christmas (Family activity)
Hey Dad,
I thought I’d have my kids look up these Christmas verses and then write down the reasons for HIS coming. I’ll aslo tell them to draw a Christmas tree in their Bible next to each verse so they’ll stumble upon them in the years to come. When they do, they’ll be reminded once again of why Jesus came.

Thank you for your ministry to Dads like me. I’m enjoying your emails, 365 Day Dad, and a few other books that came my way recently. Hoping and praying your daughter has fully recovered since her emergency room visit a couple of weeks ago.
Looking forward to meeting you, Lord willing, in Ottawa, Ontario for the RVHEA Conference in the spring – hoping the snow has gone by then. We are frozen in without much snow to date.

[…] What else have we been up to lately? We did this Christmas tree/ Bible activity and it was so meaningful. We looked up this list of Bible verses (there are only 14 and they go in order! 15-20 minutes max). We drew a little Christmas tree beside each verse in their Bible to remind them of WHY Jesus came. Each verse tells a REASON for Jesus’ coming. So so precious and blew me away pondering on it.
