We started having family Advent nights a dozen years ago. We got the idea from my sister-in-law. We had the fun stuff down pretty pat, but we had been wanting to do something that focused our family on Jesus’ birth. The advent night does just that, plus the kids love them.
When my son was a toddler, he used to love riding in his car seat because it gave him a stable platform from which to pitch things at the back of my head. His giggly joy when he managed to nail me with a soggy chunk of Pop Tart was so full of delight I couldn’t find it in my heart to get mad at him, though I hated it when my boss would interrupt a meeting to ask me if I realized I had pastry crumbs in my hair.
Here it is…episode #3 of the Familyman Adventure series. It was created by my son, Sam (17). Not only is it entertaining…but it gives my son experience in computer annimation.
