Giggly Girls
Just walked past the family room on the way to my office and saw four giggly girls sitting around a card table having a tea party. Maggie Rose (9) has been talking about it for two weeks and today she was busily cleaning up for the big afternoon. I even helped her make vanilla pudding (it couldn’t have been any easier).
I’m telling you, there’s just something special about little girls in all their girlyness. And as they grow older there is still a special place in daddy’s heart for their girls.
I mean you should have seen the sweet smile on Katherine’s (16) face as we had our first night of ballroom dancing with a roomful of old people. It was like Cinderella and Prince Kind of Charming.
If you have a daughter, you know what I mean. That’s why my heart aches for fellow dad, Davis Carmen when I got the news today that his little girl is in the hospital with a dangerously low heart rate. I think she’s doing better but would you mid praying for this dad and his little girl. I’m going to pray again right now…amen.
And now, stop and thank God for YOUR little giggly girl.
You ‘da dad,
Todd
I just got this message and am shocked at the timing. My daughter is now at the hospital with her mother for possibly an appendix operation. I had to stay home with her younger sister. I will pray for them and my little (15 yr old) girl too.
