I’m ‘da dad…right?!!!!!
Hey Dad,
Just flipped on the A/C on this hot humid day thinking I’d take the edge off. Easy right? NOooooooo. The fan seems to be seized up and hot. Man, can anything go right for a tired dad? Nooooo. It’s the lot of a dad. It’s tireless, unrelenting, thankless…and a whole bunch of other words that I can’t think of right now that end in ‘less.’
That’s why they set aside a whole day to honor us as dads. I think it’s to keep us going so they can suck more of the life-blood from us. You know, make the old guy happy one day a year so he’ll keep the lawn mowed kind of thing.
Oh, I know I sound like a whiner…BUT I FEEL LIKE A WHINER RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!
I better go and fix something that’s about to be broken!

Being a dad for me is about working things out no matter what gets thrown at you.
Loving your wife like a romance novel.
Spending time with the kids so they feel special and know they are loved.
Giving them advice and listing to their hearts so I do not miss out on them growing up.
Giving them a good pop in the behind when they get out of line.
I have learned I really don’t need to be thanked.
As long as the wife is happy some how I wind up being happy.
It’s not about the nail! Lolololol
Calm down. You need a cold drink of tea and don’t worry. Moms get way less recognition than we do!!!
