Be a Rally Sponsor
Hey Dad,
I’m super excited about this year’s Familyman Rally at Corner Stone Campground in Newcastle, IN. When we did this two years ago we had about 200 people (including kids). IN an effort to keep the cost down for those attending I thought it would be nice to have some businesses, ministries, or dads encourage the folks attending by underwriting a few of the ‘fun things.’
I’ve already gotten a couple of sponsors to underwrite the meals, but I’m opening it up to you to help with a couple of other things.
Here’s what I’m thinking:
Smore time – $125 (to cover the items used in making a smore) Sponsored by Stephen Howe
Ice Cream Gathering – $150 (to cover all the ice cream and toppings for Friday night’s initial gathering) Sponsored by an anonymous dad
Prize Sponsor – $125 (to pay for all prizes that will be given away to the winners of ice breakers and family games) Sponsored by State Farm Insurance Agent John Tyler Carlson
A craft – $120 (to pay for the supplies for a craft that the families will be making)
As a sponsor your business, ministry, and or ‘name’ will be mentioned (in the event program), thanked, and given credit for sponsoring the fun.
If you’re at all interested let me know. Thanks for considering it!
This may be too involved, but…I made a craft for Awanas. It is a simple tool box of 1/4″ plywood with 1X6 pine gable ends and a 3/4″ dowel for a handle. I made a branding iron which we heated in the campfire. Watching the smoke rise while “AWANA” appeared on the side of the box was spellbinding for kids and adults alike.
Any local cabinet shop could make the pieces. A local welding shop could make the branding iron. Cheap and impressive. Even the moms liked them.
What is the cost for the Rally?
