Skype Me!! – it’s almost like having me there

Hey Dad,

You’ve got three options to have me speak to your group:

1) Fly me there (plus one family member), put me up in a hotel, shuttle me around or rent a car, take a love offering or set a fee.

2) Just hope I’m driving through the area in the old Family Mobile and snag me.

3) Skype me…and this is the option I’m talking about right now. AND IT JUST GOT EASIER.

Actually, I Skyped a group down in Springtown, TX the other evening. The really cool thing about this event is that they did it all through a smart phone and a cable to a video projector. They could see me and I COULD SEE THEM, making it a great interactive event.

…we ran Skype through the Apple Skype app and then plugged the iphone into our projector (via a special $50 Apple cord) and into our speaker system via an Aux cord.  Thankfully, it worked really well and I would be happy to recommend the Skype aspect to your ministry to anyone.  We didn’t have the budget to fly you into DFW, but through today’s technology, you were able to give a fantastic message in an interactive way that was very personalized. ~ Brad M.
