Birthdays Are the Best

Hey Dad,

Just a little report on my 50th birthday celebration. It was awesome. We had a great time at Logan’s Roadhouse for lunch and then watched Big Hero 6 together as a family. The best part was just being together as a family.

That’s why I always feel sorry for the families who say, “We don’t make birthdays a big deal at our home.” I want to shout, But you’re missing out on a great time of family!!

I knew my kids had just as much fun as I did. They loved showing me how much they love me and loved the celebration. I know that one day, when they’re moms and dads, they’ll celebrate their kids birthdays along with their own…because I did.

I don’t know if you have a birthday coming up, but if you do, make it a good one!!!
