Put your Iphone to good use
I just finished watching my two youngest sons, Cal (7) and Jed (6) give a virtual tour of their Play Mobile world on my wife’s iPhone. I think my dad-phone takes video…but it’s so hard to figure out that I’ve never done it. I think she took the video because we realized we didn’t have any video of our youngest kids. The other night we watched some old family videos. My oldest kids are featured as little kids…but my youngest four weren’t even born at the time.
I’m thinking my wife didn’t want to miss out on having them in our archives. In the decades to come we might forget what they sound and talk like now. I feel teary eyed just thinking about it.
So, Dad, let me encourage you to do a little videoing of your children tonight. Then download it and put it on a DVD for the ages. One day when you’re old and wrinkled you can pop it in and relive those wonderful days that you are living TODAY.
BTW – Make sure you’re LIVING those wonderful days TODAY.
You ‘da dad,
Todd
We go through the old pictures and videos clips every now and then.
Its always fun to gather around and go through them. We often find particularly embarrassing ones and proclaim “that one will be in the graduation slide show!”
The other day I told my oldest son that if he thinks the pictures of me when I was young look old, well, his son will think the same thing in 20 years.
