I’m Going!!!!

Hey Dad,

“The Most Wonderful Time of the Year” is playing as I type this…and you know, it is. I love this time of year. Especially the Thanksgiving weekend that leads up to Christmas. There’s just so much to do as family.

My daughter Katherine (16) is so pumped to see the new Disney movie Frozen. Sooo…we’re all going to see it tomorrow night. We told the kids they’re going to have to buy their own ticket because it’s just a little hard for me to swallow $130 for a night at the movies.

But whatever it costs I know it will be priceless…because it will be a night that will never be forgotten. Decades from now when my children are watching it with their grandchildren they’ll say, “Oh, I went with my dad on Thanksgiving night when I was a kid.”

Powerful stuff.

Your cheapness may rival Ebenezer Scrooges, Dad, but can I encourage you to be a little extravagant this weekend and take the family to Frozen. You can thank me later.
