Geteting Ready

Hey Dad,

Back from sunny California and working hard to get ready from Sam’s (18) graduation. Being homeschooled we don’t really have a huge ceremony (just a few words from his emotional dad) but we are going to have an open house for family and friends.

IN order top have that the house has to be…presentable. After being gone for two plus months…it isn’t there yet. My mower is still being worked on, but it should be done in time to hack down the tallest grass.

It’s really shocking to me how quick our children grow up. Right now Katherine (16) is looking though some of Sam’s old drawings so we can post them around the room. He drew them when he was just a nipper…but I remember so many of them and even remember him handing them to me. Now he’s all grown up and ready to start training for a computer animation career. Wow. It went so fast.

Before I know it they’ll all be grown up, and I’ll be old. I’m feeling old even thinking about it.

Dad, make sure to enjoy them today…because tomorrow is coming fast.
