Laundry in Tulsa

Hey Dad,

Sorry the updates are so infrequent  IT’s just plain hard to make updates on the road. I”m either driving, speaking, or doing crowd control.

Anyway, things have gone well. Lots of fun, very few meltdowns (I didn’t say none), and we’ve met a bunch of great dads.

Right now we’re doing a little laundry. MY wife’s inside while we’re watching a video for about the millionth time. My wife hates that we resort to video watching…but it sure calms things down..and I like watching them.

We were supposed to meet some folks for dinner but we just got a text saying they found something growing near his brain and had to go to the hospital. Pray for the dad and husband (Dan N.). Things change so quickly…not only in RV’s but in life.

Last week after we spoke in Albuquerque we visited the petroglyphs, climbed Sandia MTN, visited White Sands, and descended into the most awesome caves we’ve ever seen – Carlsbad Caverns.

Tomorrow is Ike’s birthday (#14) and we plan to make it a wonderful day. His birthday is always on the road and I want him to feel special and loved…it’s harder to show that on the road.
