The Valentine’s Day Countdown Begins
Hey Dad,
I don’t mean to alarm you, but we’re about 10 days away from Valentine’s Day. It’s amazing how it always sneaks up on husbands. Don’t know why it would, it’s been on February 14th for…along time. But still I always find myself scrambling the day or so before.
It’s really pathetic. Here we have a special day set aside for showing those people nearest we love them and then we go and get some lame gift in a heart shaped box…because that’s all we could find.
A couple years ago I asked about 30,000 ladies what they’d like for valentine’s day and I was blown away by their answers. Armed with that information…I want to do something special for my wife. I want to do something that she would like…not something that I’d like to give her. Make sense?
I don’t have any suggestions yet, but I want to encourage you to start thinking about YOUR wife and what you could do to let her know that she’s still your Valentine.
