Mr. Fix it
Today is Cal’s birthday (5). We plan to get to Montgomery, AL before noon and do some birthday activity…culminating in Chuck E Cheese. Cal is pumped. He announced that he’s going to stop sucking his thumb…we’ll see.
Yesterday, I fixed (temporarily) the awning with a clamp from Loew’s (see home page right hand side bar for photo). The day ended up being a great day fro travel. The was shining and the air was warm. I’m loving it.
Things to fix: CD player (the life blood of RVing) is on the blink. I may get one and put it in during some down time.
Spent the night in Birmingham, Al at a Wal-mart we haven’t stopped at before. You know what that means? I get to cross is off the my master list in my Rand McNally road atlas.
Gotta go pick out a cake for Cal.

I don’t envy you the post ChuckECheese headache you will likely have.
Can’t see yesterday’s post on your website, but I figure that’s hard to fix from an RV.
Tell Cal to “fight the good fight.” If he is successful with that thumb thing, ask him his secret. I’m still (personally) struggling with that. Embarrassing going into meetings with it all shriveled like I’ve been doing dishes with one digit.
