Cool Hand dad
OK, this video is not for the faint of heart or for children. In fact, I do NOT recommend the movie. But this little clip serves as a vivid picture of how a tough dad always gets back up. ALWAYS. May God burn it into your mind and may it serve you well.
Todd,
When you started talking about Cool Hand Luke you went in a totally different direction from what I thought you would go. My thought about Cool Hand Luke was, where was his father? Yeah, he was a cool dude, Paul Newman always was, but he was pretty much a loser in the movie. He couldn’t make it on the outside or the inside.
The link to Cool Hand Luke isn’t working!
now it is – thanks!
Though I understand what you are trying to get across, I do agree with Ted and your statement of NOT recommending this movie. I am trying to come up with another example, otherwise ‘if you aren’t part of the solution, you are part of the problem’. What comes as an example is a B rated actor but we really like him – Roy Rogers.
My husband forwarded this to me and a bunch of friends. I love the scene, in the sense that you use it, Todd, and no, I have never seen the movie. Thanks for all you do. Love the example. Get back up!
Glad to see that you personally do not recommend this movie having heard what is in it.
