It’s true. Having driven across Iowa a few times there’s not a lot to break up the terrain – except maybe trying to keep the car on the road while avoiding getting dive-bombed by a crop duster making his approach right over the interstate.
I live in Omaha – surrounded by corn, but no funky smells. And only a few more trees.
Hey now, as a lifelong Iowa resident (now in Des Moines) I have to point out there’s a lot more to offer. Stop and enjoy the arts, great malls, sports. And yes, Omaha has some vile stockyard odors.
That is soooo true!! We live in FL and drove a camper out to Yellowstone and we couldn’t believe all the corn we saw. Whew!!
Totally useless…I laughed my head off!
Man I needed a good laugh. Thanks!!
