The Great RV Makeover – Week 6
Progress…I love it. Well, Merle the Amish RV carpet layer, spent a day and half cutting, stretching, and laying the vinyl and carpet in our “new” RV. Man, it looks great and lightens up the interior a ton. I would have included a photo of Merle working on the steps but he wouldn’t let me take his photo (it’s an Amish thing).
Next up, I need to build some cabinets that will go over the couches (that will be recovered by an Amish re-upholsterer). There are still about 100 details that need to be addressed, but we feel like we’ve made a dent.
So, until next time, swing wide and keep your eye on your tail.
PS – I’m ready to make someone a good deal on the FM2!
LOVE THE STORIES ON THE RV, I WORK AT AN RV DEALERSHIP IN THE SERVICE DEPT AND RELATE ALOT…IF ONLY WOMAN WERE MORE LIKE AN RV???

Love the progress, love being at home for a season…
Maybe you could get a sketch artist to show us what an Amish carpet guy looks like in action.
Hi, I’ve been in your store before and have read some of your articles from the Old School House Magazine, but had no idea you were an RVer. We are about to take the leap ourselves. Are you a fulltimer? Does your wife have a blog? I would really like to pick her brain if she isn’t too busy.
So – nothin’ in a month. You in the holiday doldrums?
Any advice that you could offer me and my wife are entering into the Rv of the Ministry have a five-month-year-old son, and will to serve the Lord need to find a cheap RV we need a lot of prayer .
