The Great RV Makeover – Week 2
Well, after hanging the wall paper in the main cabin
area…removing the wallpaper form the main cabin area…and rehanging the wallpaper in the main cabin area, it’s looking good.
I can’t believe how much there is to do. One task leads to 3 others. Tonight an Amish guy who works in a local RV factory is going to give me an idea of what’s involved in laying new flooring throughout the coach.
This weekend I plan to build a triple decker bunk-bed and begin work on a set of extra cabinets. I think my wife is feeling a little overwhelmed by the size of the job…but I’ve got my eye set on the goal and keep plugging.
Here are a few pictures of some of the progress…or lack thereof.
PS – By the way some have asked about the FM2. We are selling it, and it would be a great family RV. It runs great, and we are asking $14,500. If you’re interested, let me know, and I can get you some more info.
“an Amish guy who works in a local RV factory”…isn’t that almost an oxymoron? 😀
Keep up the hard work it does pay off! And I want to thank you for continualy being an encouragement! I read your emails each week and they give me the strength and encouragement to trust God to see me through!
YOU DA DAD!!!!
sweet! we’re driving a 15 passenger ford van…wait till’ I tell the mrs. we’re upgrading…to an RV!!!
Todd – I just completed the conveyor belt from our garage to the basement. I now have a new shipping office! Only involved building a wall, moving electric lines, cutting a hole in the floor & wall, building conveyor, etc. When I get tired I read your website for encouragement and energy. We’re thrilled for you guys and FM3! I gotta hear those air horns! http://www.kidslovetravel.com
Todd,
Thanks for what you guys are doing. Thanks for the encouragement last week to protect our wives and marriages. You, your wife and kids are an encouragement to us all. If you guys are ever in the Binghamton, Owego NY area and need some home cooking give us a shout. travis@reepfamily.net, http://www.reepfamily.net
