In light of my recent car troubles…
10. “Dad, do you leave the same air in the tires throughout their life or do you have to put fresh air in them every now and then?”
9. “The check engine light has only been on for six months Dad.”
8. “The guy at the auto parts store said I need new piston rings so he sold me a bunch. Do you have time to put those in before lunch today Dad? I’ll help.”
7. “So Dad, I Youtubed ‘how to fix a tranny on a 94 Jeep’ and I got a bunch of weird videos of guys dressed up like girls.”
6. “Dad, remember in ‘Red Dawn’ when they took a leak in the radiator when their truck overheated? The Pontiac overheated so I tried that…”
5. “What do you mean I gotta rotate the tires Dad? They rotate every time I drive it…”
4. “Grandpa told me the only thing wrong with my car is a loose nut behind the wheel… “
3. “I only broke off two of the six spark plugs. Do you think they’ll hurt anything if I drive it anyway?”
2. “I’ve got a tournament in Albuquerque. Is it ok if I take the team in your work truck? We’ll pay for the gas.”
1. “Dad… what does it mean when the Chrysler goes ‘ca-choink ca-chank ca-chink baaadadadada splort’ every time I turn right?”
