  1. I was only going to watch for a few seconds, but I watched the whole thing because it really drew me in! Great job with the graphics and actually telling a story — without words. Sam appears to be very talented!

  2. Wow! That’s some serious talent. You should send this to Big Idea and see if they’re hiring for Veggie Tales movies!

  3. Great job Sam. Have you ever considered using animations to more clearly express the truths of the Bible? I have a couple very simple examples at:
    visualwisdom.org

  4. That was really cool. I’m impressed. My boys were laughing the whole time at the poor nutcrackers feeble attempts. Very cool animation and creativity. It’ll be interesting to see how the Lord uses this!

  5. I recommend Sam submits this to the National Film Festival for Talented Youth @ http://www.nffty.orgNFFTY is “the largest and most influential youth film festival in the world”. Also check out AutoDesk’s professional 3D animation software like 3Dmax and Maya – FREE for students to download. I’m just getting my 14 year old started on that.

  6. I watched this with my children and we all enjoyed it. Reminded me of Wiley Coyote or Scrat. Nicely done! Thanks for sharing.

  7. That was fantastic! My kids loved it so much that they wanted to watch it again and again… Thanks for sharing it!

  8. We all thought it was really funny and my 6 year old wants to watch it every time I turn on the computer! My 9 year old likes when he gets smashed by the brick and my 11 year old likes when he lights himself on fire. Mommy liked it because that is often how she feels at the end of the day!!!

  9. This is totally a new Christmas classic for my kids! They just saw The Nutcracker ballet, so they weren’t too excited to watch it, but they giggled like crazy through the whole thing! Please share it again next year.

  10. This was fantastic; sitting here watching alone but look forward to having my kiddos join me for the second watch.

  15. That was so fun! Thanks for telling the Nutcrackers side of the story! Great humor and fantastic talent! Merry Christmas!

  16. Totally hilarious!! The Nutcracker’s stunts and facial expressions are a masterful mix of Wile E. Coyote and Inspector Clouseau’s boss-gone-bonkers. Thanks for sharing your creative talents with your internet family!
