Love Words (The Skit Guys) – Video
Hey Dad,
Ever look at getting flowers or a card for your wife as a chore or duty to be completed? The Skit Guys have done an amazing job in painting the picture. What I want you to see is that your wife needs more than a signed $4 card. She wants to know what she means to you. You can do that with a half sheet of paper and a pencil. As soon as you watch this video…write your wife a heartfelt note.

Great reminder. Wives want our heart, not just some trite card costing $3.75. Even a dozen red roses may not do what words from your heart can. [Unless you rarely give her roses.]
I’m Dutch and a farmer. Naturally tight, simple, quick, and cheap. Hand made cards and words have been my M.O. This last birthday, she bought herself a dozen red roses.
I got the point.
Balance.
In all fairness to me, my words were and are always from my heart, and I frequently create a HUGE bouquet of flowers from around our yard.
But I did get the point. Sometimes wives want to see us go out of our way to do something different. Different = Special
