Familyman Show Sponsor

Hey Dad,

How would you like to encourage dads and at the same time let other familymen know about your business, product or ministry? Well, starting today we’re looking for sponsors for the Familymanshow podcast because we need your help in producing our none-award winning show. Each week somewhere between 800-1000 dads (plus a few moms) tune in for some reason or the other and as a sponsor they’ll learn about you.

Here are your sponsoring options:

Chipmunk Level – $100 for a single show
Possum Level – $360 for 4 shows ($90 per show)
Bluefin Tuna Level – $2000 for six months ($85 per show)
Charging Rhino Level – $3750 for the whole year (just $75 per show)
Here’s what you as a sponsor will receive –
1. A 60 second commercial spot on each show (as well a intro and exit mention -ex. This show is being underwritten by Bob’s Monster Truck Shop…) Click the link below to hear a sample of what it might sound like.Bobs monster truck shop commercial
2. We will also include a link on our weekly email to 20,000+ dads. ‘This week’s show is sponsored by Bob’s Monster Truck Shop. (logo/artwork with multiple shows)
3. With the 1/2 and whole year sponsorship your logo/link will be placed at the top of the Familyman Show page for the duration of your sponsorship.

Bonus – if you sponsor the show for 6 months or a year, we’ll also interview you on the Familyman Show.
I’m telling you can’t beat that deal plus you’d be helping us out AND encouraging dads around the world.
Here’s what a two month sponsor recently wrote:
“Todd, Thanks again for all your work over the past few months. I’m just wrapping up the last of the giveaways, and it’s been such a pleasure to connect with your listeners. I appreciate all the time and effort you put into making this a success for us. We’d heartily recommend a sponsorship to anyone who asks.”

  1. Scott and Todd,

I am a radio broadcaster and have a terrestrial radio program that goes into 120 countries around the world each week. It’s on AM, FM, Shortwave and guess what, it’s online too. I can only guess that based on the sponsor pricing that you are asking for that you are looking at either BlogTalkRadio, Live 365 or Spreaker.

Please let me encourage you to not use one of these services to get started. I too considered Live 365 after leaving BlogTalk but the cost was prohibitive. The best was to get into podcasting/broadcasting is through Shoutcast, both from a cost an availability standpoint. My airtime purchases can range widely in cost, based on markets and # of listeners, but my online shoutcast station is on 24/7/365 all around the world. I’m on iTunes Radio (Religious > Your Hope Today) and listed on the shoutcast directory as well as other services like radiotuna.

The base charge for my 24/7 airtime is $12 a month for 10 simultaneous listeners. I just recently added an additional 10 simultaneous listeners for an additional $11 per month (rounded for easy math). Compare that to the well over $500 a month I spend on air time and the choice is clear… global audience, paid hosting, 24/7 availability.

I can talk you through getting it set up and going if you are interested. And, no, I don’t resell this service or anything. I just wanted to let you know that you can do this for far less than you think. If you then want to get sponsors, you can certainly do so and use the $$ to upgrade recording equipment or purchase air time (for re-broadcast) on a terrestrial station.

Also, if you’d like to partner together on any part of this I’d be willing. You can of course listen to my programs any time online (this will take you to one of my shoutcast partners) at http://tinyurl.com/yht247

    Blessings,

    Joshua
